IPAA YPF: Active,
Motivated, Inquisitive
IPAA SA’s Young Professionals Forum is an active group for under 35’s in the
South Australian public service. We aim to drive an agenda that interests and affects
young people in government. We look to do things differently - to break free of the
‘public servant’ mould.
By running original thought-provoking events and getting involved in a variety of issues
we seek to address the challenges and opportunities facing young public sector employees.
From the formal events to the more irreverent, our aim is to nurture the talent of
tomorrow and give them avenues to meet, compare notes, share challenges, develop networks
and invest in the legacy they will inherit as the future leaders of the public sector.
Currently, there are over 70 members of the Young Professionals Forum, headed up by a
Young Professionals Steering Committee, which meets monthly. The Steering Committee
welcomes input from all members and seeks to involve and engage as many young
professionals as possible including other young professional networks such as Oxygen, AIM
