IPAA currently has three major Awards:

• The Sir George Murray Essay Competition for creative thinking and analytical debate on current issues affecting public administration in Australia
  
  
• The IPAA Reporting Awards, rewarding excellence in annual report writing and Sustainability reporting, and
  
  
• The Student Awards, presented to the best students in the study of public administration in various courses.
