International innovation and competition expert, Dan Pink, is coming to South Australia from Washington for a half-day seminar on 20 May 2008.
A best-selling author and expert on the changing world of work, Daniel Pink has lectured on workplaces, business and economic transformation to audiences around the world. He has been published in the New York Times, Harvard Business Review and Fast Company; and has also worked as a speechwriter to then US Vice President Al Gore.
Drawing from his acclaimed book, “A Whole New Mind: Why Right Brainers Will Rule the Future”, Pink will discuss the rise of right-brain thinking in modern developed economies and workplaces. He will explain the six abilities individuals and organisations must master in increasingly outsourced, automated and talent-scarce nations. He will focus on how right-brain thinking can better lead to innovation and positive change when harnessed effectively, and that supporting workplace structures that allow creativity will lead to better outcomes. For the public sector, this means more meaningful and efficient reforms and better services for citizens.
Don’t sit by and wait for innovation to occur. Be a part of bringing positive change.
