Professional Development

IPAA SA regularly holds functions, seminars and workshops.  Many of these workshops are designed to inspire members to aim higher, to set new standards and constantly seek to improve themselves personally and professionally.  One of the primary advantages of IPAA SA membership is the support and motivation you receive from other members.

As a member, you’ll be personally invited to a variety of professional programs. These are designed to keep you informed of the very latest changes, movements and developments right across the public sector spectrum.

IPAA members are also invited to contribute ideas when government and public sector organisations turn to us for comments and opinion.

Special Interest Groups

Women’s Forum
The Women’s Forum was established to encourage women to take an active role in their professional development with IPAA SA’s support. The Forum also provides vital networking opportunities with many strong alliances, friendships and successful professional relationships having been formed since it’s inception in 1992.

The Young Professionals’ Forum (YPF)
The YPF is a voluntary team of dynamic and committed young professionals who encourage, support and up-skill other young professional people by encouraging them to achieve their potential and ultimately take their place as future leaders.

Rewarding Excellence

IPAA in South Australia is committed to recognizing excellence in public administration. Currently awards are presented each year for outstanding achievements in annual reporting, for students completing public administration courses and essay writing.
