Professional Development Courses
Our courses are interactive incorporating a combination of theory, practice (real case studies) and review. Our facilitators engage in a process of inquiry, analysis, and decision-making with adult learners, rather than just transmitting knowledge.
We also understand adults are competency-based learners and therefore we work hard to develop programs that improve performance and support behavioural change and are relevant to organisational and employee needs.
IPAA’s short courses offer an interactive environment to focus on a specific topic relevant to a successful career in the Public Sector. Covering a wide range of professional skill sets that align to the South Australian Public Sector’s Competency Framework, the five (5) themes of our Program are:
- Career Management and Self Development;
- Core Skills for the Public Sector (including Workplace Communications and Writing);
- Financial Management Series;
- Strategic and Technical Leadership; and
- Extended Programs.
